Este é um convite a todas e todos aquelas/es que desejam participar na Foice de Prata - Agenda Lunar 2025.
Com esta Lua Nova, abre a temporada de entrega das participações e esta janela de oportunidade mantém-se aberta até 6 de Junho de 2024.
Em 2025 será o segundo ano do Tema AS 5 TRIBOS ou Os 5 Reinos da Natureza em que cada ano será dedicado a uma tribo da Grande Família Terrestre.
As 5 Tribos ou Reinos são: Microorganismos (seres unicelulares), Fungos, Vegetais, Animais e Minerais, por esta ordem. Então 2025 é dedicado à Tribo dos Fungos.
Tal como no ciclo anterior (os 5 elementos da Vida) o meu objectivo é aprofundar e harmonizar a nossa relação como humanos com a Vida pulsante do nosso lar o planeta Terra.

A forma de participação é da vossa escolha. Podem ser desenhos, pinturas, fotos, colagens, textos, pequenos contos, poesia, pensamentos...etc.
Todas as participações devem ter boa qualidade digital, texto e imagem devem ser enviados em documentos separados e as imagens devem ser digitalizadas com resolução mínima de 300ppp.
A agenda é a preto e branco (escala de cinzas) e as participações a cores podem perder qualidade e expressão.
A capa será a cores e quem quiser enviar participações para a capa deve fazê-lo a cores.
As imagens e textos passam por um critério de selecção e serão escolhidas num máximo de 3 (três) contribuições por participante.
Será entregue como compensação pela participação, uma, duas ou três agendas dependendo do número de trabalhos escolhido e do seu posicionamento na agenda.
Todas as contribuições devem incluir o vosso contacto e um pequeno texto com a vossa apresentação. O texto de apresentação tem um limite de 320 caracteres (incluindo espaços e pontuação). As apresentações que excedam este limite serão automaticamente excluídas.

Call for participation in the Foice de Prata - Lunar Agenda 2025

This is an invitation to all those who wish to participate in the Foice de Prata - Lunar Agenda 2025.
With this New Moon, the season for submitting participations opens and this window of opportunity remains open until 6 June 2024.
2025 will be the second year of the Theme THE 5 TRIBES or THE 5 Kingdoms of Nature, in which each year will be dedicated to a tribe of the Great Earth Family.
The 5 Tribes or Kingdoms are: Microorganisms (unicellular beings), Fungi, Plants, Animals and Minerals, in that order. So 2025 is dedicated to the Tribe of Fungi.
As with the previous cycle (the 5 Elements of Life) my aim is to deepen and harmonize our relationship as humans with the pulsing Life of our home planet Earth.

The form of participation is of your choice. It can be drawings, paintings, photos, collages, texts, short stories, poetry, thoughts...etc.
 All entries must be of good digital quality, text and image must be sent in separate documents and images must be scanned at a minimum resolution of 300ppp.
The diary is in black and white (greyscale) and colour entries may lose quality and expression.
The cover will be in colour and those who wish to submit entries for the cover should do so in colour.
 The images and texts will go through a selection process and a maximum of 3 (three) contributions per participant will be chosen.
 As compensation for participation, one, two or three diaries will be delivered depending on the number of entries chosen and their placement in the diary.
 All contributions must include your contact information and a short presentation text. The presentation text has a limit of 320 characters (including spaces and punctuation). Submissions exceeding this limit will be automatically excluded.
 The selected participants will be sent an e-mail informing of their selection some time after the submission deadline.

A Lua Nova de Novembro tem uma energia bastante poderosa, com uma conjunção com Marte e oposição a Úrano. Marte dá uma energia de iniciativa e Úrano trás uma luta contra a agressão e o caos. Isto parece apenas alimentar a luta sem fim entre o bem e o mal que é mostrada a todos os níveis, desde os planetas até às estrelas. Curiosamente para esta Lua escolhi o excerto de um texto do Carl Sagan; texto esse que originou a celebre frase: Somos feitos de pó de estrelas.

“A superfície da Terra é a costa do oceano cósmico. Nesta costa, aprendemos a maioria do que sabemos. Recentemente, andámos um pouco oceano adentro, talvez até ao tornozelo, e a água parece convidativa. Alguma parte do nosso ser sabe que é de onde viemos. November's New Moon has a very powerful energy, with a conjunction to Mars and opposition to Uranus. Mars gives an energy of initiative and Uranus brings a fight against aggression and chaos. This only seems to fuel the never-ending struggle between good and evil that is shown at every level, from the planets to the stars. Interestingly, for this Moon I have chosen an excerpt from a text by Carl Sagan; which gave rise to the famous sentence: We are made of stardust.

Hoje é Lua Nova em Balança e eclipse solar anular. Esta Lua faz um quincôncio com Úrano e o convite é resolver problemas usando a imaginação e a mente aberta para superar o pensamento polarizado. É importante apoiar a busca de soluções por meio da liderança, diplomacia e capacidade de ver as coisas de ambos os lados. Este é um momento que pode trazer mudanças progressivas e liberdade ou mudanças forçadas e caos. Mas há razões para ter esperança.

Com um número suficiente de pessoas imaginando um futuro melhor, as estrelas fixas afortunadas em torno dos 21° de Balança manifestarão o lado mais positivo de Úrano.

Um quincôncio é um aspecto astrológico potente mas não oferece uma resolução imediata, o que precisamos é de segurar a imaginação numa resolução benéfica que se possa tornar realidade no futuro.

 

A influência do Eclipse Solar de 14 de Outubro de 2023 pode durar mais de cinco meses, até ao Eclipse Solar de 8 de Abril de 2024. A melhor altura para iniciar novos projectos é durante as duas semanas da fase crescente da Lua, de 14 a 28 de Outubro.

 

Today it's the New Moon in Libra and an annular solar eclipse. This Moon makes a quincunx with Uranus and the invitation is to solve problems using imagination and an open mind to overcome polarised thinking. It's important to support the search for solutions through leadership, diplomacy and the ability to see things from both sides. This is a time that can bring progressive change and freedom or forced change and chaos. But there is reason for hope.
With enough people imagining a better future, the lucky fixed stars around 21° Libra will manifest the more positive side of Uranus.
A quincunx is a powerful astrological aspect but it doesn't offer an immediate resolution, what we need is to hold our imagination on a beneficial resolution that can become a reality in the future.

The influence of the Solar Eclipse of 14 October 2023 can last more than five months, until the Solar Eclipse of 8 April 2024. The best time to start new projects is during the two weeks of the Moon's crescent phase, from 14 to 28 October.

After an intense weekend I finally come here to publish the image chosen for the Bonfire Moon. As it was a greyscale participation without colour, I also publish an image of the first pages. Vesica Piscis, a fusion of finger painting and computer effects.

Ontem foi o equinócio de Primavera, com a entrada do Sol em Carneiro e hoje temos uma Lua Nova em Carneiro. As palavras chave aqui são: Duplo Novo Começo!

E para aquecer verdadeiramente esta atmosfera de grande mudança temos cinco planetas em Carneiro que encorajam fortemente a impulsividade. No entanto, apesar de Júpiter estar em Carneiro ele faz um semi-quadrado a Saturno em Peixes no mesmo dia, lembrando-nos que não podemos agir corajosamente no momento presente, ignorando ao mesmo tempo a sabedoria estabilizadora da compaixão.

Esta Lua Nova tem uma energia de resolução de conflitos com compaixão, mudanças aceleradas (que nos podem causar desconforto) e um duplo novo começo. É tempo de perdoar e soltar o passado para podermos semear o futuro que nos bate à porta com este Duplo Novo Começo.

Março é o mês mais marcante deste ano, mas lá porque agora a roda começou a girar freneticamente isso não quer dizer que vamos correr para o futuro e atiramos o passado para trás... a mudança pode ser forte e acelerada mas os progressos serão lentos no início.

E nada melhor que a Mandorla (centro da Vesica Piscis) para representar este duplo novo começo.

Yesterday was the Spring Equinox, with the Sun entering Aries and today we have a New Moon in Aries. The key words here are: Double New Beginnings!
And to really warm up this atmosphere of great change we have five planets in Aries which strongly encourage impulsiveness. However, although Jupiter is in Aries it makes a semi-square to Saturn in Pisces on the same day, reminding us that we cannot act boldly in the present moment while ignoring the stabilising wisdom of compassion.
This New Moon has an energy of conflict resolution with compassion, accelerated change (which can cause us discomfort) and a double new beginning. It's time to forgive and let go of the past so that we can sow the future that is knocking on our door with this Double New Beginning.
March is the most defining month of this year, but just because the wheel has now started spinning frantically that doesn't mean we will rush into the future and throw the past behind us... change may be strong and accelerated but progress will be slow at first.

And nothing better than Mandorla (Vesica Piscis center) to symbolise a doble new beginning.

Lua do Florescer - Blossoming Moon

Esta Lua Nova está alinhada com Saturno, podemos alcançar os nossos objectivos com trabalho árduo, paciência e persistência. Uma Lua Nova boa para começar algo e terminar algo. Mas particularmente novos começos porque o Sextil de Plutão a Vénus realça a melhor natureza de Saturno, e também dá a paixão e a obsessão para ter sucesso.

 

This New Moon is aligned with Saturn, we can achieve our goals with hard work, patience and persistence. A good New Moon for starting something and finishing something. But particularly new beginnings because the sextile of Pluto to Venus brings out Saturn's better nature, and also gives the passion and obsession to succeed.

Saudações Lunáticas

Este é um convite a todas e todos aquelas/es que desejam participar na Foice de Prata - Agenda Lunar 2024.
Com esta Lua Cheia, abre a temporada de entrega das participações e esta janela de oportunidade mantém-se aberta até 4 de Junho de 2023.
Com o fechar do ciclo de cinco anos com o tema: Os Elementos da Vida, é meu desejo abrir um novo ciclo de cinco anos e desafiar-vos a mergulharem neste tema com toda a vossa inspiração.
Tal como no ciclo anterior o meu objectivo é aprofundar e harmonizar a nossa relação como humanos com a Vida pulsante do nosso lar o planeta Terra.
Sendo assim, em 2024 abre o Tema AS 5 TRIBOS ou Os 5 Reinos da Natureza em que cada ano será dedicado a uma tribo da Grande Família Terrestre.
As 5 Tribos ou Reinos são: Microorganismos, Fungos, Vegetais, Animais e Minerais, por esta ordem. Então 2024 é dedicado à Tribo dos Microorganismos.
Para esclarecimento esta ideia foi criada por mim e apesar de não estar alinhada com o conceito dos 5 reinos da natureza estudados em biologia foi lá que fui buscar inspiração.

A forma de participação é da vossa escolha. Podem ser desenhos, pinturas, fotos, colagens, textos, pequenos contos, poesia, pensamentos...etc.
Todas as participações devem ter boa qualidade digital, texto e imagem devem ser enviados em documentos separados e as imagens devem ser digitalizadas com resolução mínima de 300ppp.
A agenda é a preto e branco (escala de cinzas) e as participações a cores podem perder qualidade e expressão.
A capa será a cores e quem quiser enviar participações para a capa deve fazê-lo a cores.
As imagens e textos passam por um critério de selecção e serão escolhidas num máximo de 3 (três) contribuições por participante.
Será entregue como compensação pela participação, uma, duas ou três agendas dependendo do número de trabalhos escolhido e do seu posicionamento na agenda.
Todas as contribuições devem incluir o vosso contacto e um pequeno texto com a vossa apresentação. O texto de apresentação tem um limite de 220 caracteres (incluindo espaços e pontuação). As apresentações que excedam este limite serão automaticamente excluídas.
Ás/aos participantes escolhidas/os será enviado, algum tempo após terminar o prazo de entrega, um mail a informar da sua selecção.

Lunatic Greetings

This is an invitation to all those who wish to participate in the Foice de Prata - Lunar Agenda 2024.
With this Full Moon, the season for submitting participations opens and this window of opportunity remains open until June 4, 2023.
With the closing of the five year cycle with the theme: The Elements of Life, it is my wish to open a new five year cycle and challenge you to dive into this theme with all your inspiration.
As with the previous cycle my aim is to deepen and harmonize our relationship as humans with the pulsing Life of our home planet Earth.
Therefore, in 2024, opens the Theme the 5 Tribes or the 5 Kingdoms of Nature, in which each year will be dedicated to a tribe of the Great Earth Family.
The 5 Tribes or Kingdoms are: Microorganisms, Fungi, Plants, Animals and Minerals, in that order. So 2024 is dedicated to the Tribe of Microorganisms.
For clarification this idea was created by me and although it is not aligned with the concept of the 5 kingdoms of nature studied in biology it was there that I got my inspiration.

The form of participation is of your choice. It can be drawings, paintings, photos, collages, texts, short stories, poetry, thoughts...etc.
 All entries must be of good digital quality, text and image must be sent in separate documents and images must be scanned at a minimum resolution of 300ppp.
The diary is in black and white (greyscale) and colour entries may lose quality and expression.
The cover will be in colour and those who wish to submit entries for the cover should do so in colour.
 The images and texts will go through a selection process and a maximum of 3 (three) contributions per participant will be chosen.
 As compensation for participation, one, two or three diaries will be delivered depending on the number of entries chosen and their placement in the diary.
 All contributions must include your contact information and a short presentation text. The presentation text has a limit of 220 characters (including spaces and punctuation). Submissions exceeding this limit will be automatically excluded.
 The selected participants will be sent an e-mail informing of their selection some time after the submission deadline.

Foice de Prata - Agenda Lunar - Fechar de um ciclo || Closing of a cycle

Em 2010 lancei a primeira agenda lunar e nos seus primeiros anos de edição os temas de inspiração eram predominantemente sobre a Lua e o feminino. Em 2018 decidi lançar um novo tema, desta vez o sagrado masculino e a sua expressão como energia de acção e visão. Este tema foi controverso e não estava no agrado de algumas utilizadoras e alguns utilizadores da agenda. Em modo de regressar às raízes senti o apelo de lançar um tema simples mas profundo e foi assim que em 2019 lancei um ciclo de 5 anos com o tema: "Os 5 Elementos da Vida" pela seguinte ordem: Água, Terra, Ar, Fogo e Éter. A minha motivação era a de convidar quem usa a agenda a reflectir sobre estes elementos de uma forma profunda, sendo eu a primeira a estudar e aprofundar a minha relação com o tema que proponho. A agenda do ano de 2023 fecha este ciclo temático com o elemento Éter e em forma de celebração partilho aqui as imagens do convite à participação, imagens das capas e textos que escrevi sobre o tema. Espero que desfrutem.

Para 2024 um novo ciclo com um novo tema será lançado... mais novidades para breve... estejam atentas/os.

Um profundo agradecimento a todas e todos que contribuíram e que usam a Foice de Prata. Continuemos a olhar para as estrelas com os pés bem assentes na Terra.

In 2010 I launched the first lunar agenda and in its first years of edition the themes of inspiration were predominantly about the Moon and the feminine. In 2018 I decided to launch a new theme, this time the sacred masculine and its expression as an energy of action and vision. This theme was controversial and was not to the liking of some users of the agenda. In a way of returning to the roots I felt the call to launch a simple but profound theme and so in 2019 I launched a 5 year cycle with the theme: "The 5 Elements of Life" in the following order: Water, Earth, Air, Fire and Ether. My motivation was to invite those who use the agenda to reflect on these elements in a profound way, with me being the first to study and deepen my relationship with the theme I propose. The agenda for the year 2023 closes this thematic cycle with the Ether element and in celebration I share here the images of the invitation to participate, images of the covers and texts that I wrote of each element. I hope you enjoy.
For 2024 a new cycle with a new theme will be launched... more news soon... be attentive.
A profound gratitude to all who have contributed and who use the Foice de Prata. Let's keep looking to the stars with our feet firmly on the Earth.

Lua do Sonho - Dream Moon

Primeira Lua Nova de 2023 coincide com Mercúrio quincôncio a Marte. Existe um bom auspicio e sensação de mudança. Tudo pode acontecer! Momento de inspiração, pensamento veloz, ideias e criatividade. Há sincronia entre as estrelas que amplia estas energias. Usa a paciência e a previdência para implementar ideias brilhantes.

Amanhã começa o Novo Ano Chinês da Lebre de Água, Yin.

First New Moon of 2023 coincides with Mercury quincunx Mars. There is a good auspiciousness and sense of change. Anything can happen! Moment of inspiration, quick thinking, ideas and creativity. There is synchronicity between the stars that amplifies these energies. Use patience and foresight to implement brilliant ideas.
Tomorrow begins the Chinese New Year of the Water Hare, Yin.

Lua da Gruta - Cave Moon

Não é preciso muitas explicações do porquê de ter chamado o ciclo lunar que coincide com a chegada do Inverno de Lua da Gruta. Mas, como na agenda Foice de Prata são abordadas as 13 lunações anuais, este ciclo lunar na agenda de 2022 tinha outro nome, era a Lua do Renascimento e foi a Lua que fechou o ano de 2022. A última Lua de um ano é também a primeira do ano seguinte (no calendário gregoriano). O que me deixa a refletir... Para renascer temos por vezes de mergulhar na profundezas das nossas cavernas e hibernar para depois sairmos à luz renovados, renascidos, regenerados. Então até faz sentido o matrimónio entre estes dois nomes que escolhi para este ciclo lunar da entrada do inverno.

Partilho aqui a imagem que corresponde à Lua da Gruta, embora esteja quase no seu fim, a Lua Nova chega já no sábado, não quis deixar de partilhar a imagem sem a sobrepor na imagem partilhada no final de 2022.

It doesn't take much explanation of why I called the lunar cycle that coincides with the coming of winter the Cave Moon. But as in the Foice de Prata diary the 13 annual lunations are covered, this lunar cycle in the 2022 diary had another name, it was the Moon of Rebirth and was the Moon that closed the year 2022. The last Moon of a year is also the first of the following year (in the Gregorian calendar). Which leaves me reflecting... To be reborn we sometimes have to dive into the depths of our caves and hibernate to then come out into the light renewed, reborn, regenerated. So it even makes sense the marriage between these two names that I chose for this lunar cycle of the entrance of winter.
I share here the image that corresponds to the Cave Moon, although it is almost at its end, the New Moon arrives already on Saturday, I did not want to fail to share the image without overlapping it on the image shared at the end of 2022.

Bem vindo Ano gregoriano de 2023 - Welcome Gregorian Year of 2023

Primeiro de Janeiro de 2023, 365 novas possibilidades de crescer, fazer, sentir e ser.

O ano de 2023 é marcado pela mudança e o sentimento de finalmente haver uma transformação que nos faz caminhar em direcção ao futuro. Mas este movimento não será tão rápido como desejamos. Aproveita o Inverno para resolver todas as pontas soltas, para na Primavera estares livre e poderes criar o mundo que sonhas. Os próximos anos são desafiantes, pois ninguém abre mão do poder de livre vontade. O antigo oferecerá resistência e a nossa resiliência será a nossa melhor ferramenta de criação de uma nova forma de viver como humanos.

 

January 1st 2023, 365 new possibilities to grow, do, feel and be.

The year 2023 is marked by change and the feeling of finally having a transformation that makes us move towards the future. But this movement will not be as quick as we would like. Take advantage of the Winter to tie up all loose ends, so that in Spring you are free to create the world you dream of. The coming years are challenging, as no one willingly gives up power. The old will offer resistance and our resilience will be our best tool to create a new way of living as humans.
